Rural resilience jako nowa koncepcja rozwoju wsi

Praca ma charakter teoretyczny i dotyczy koncepcji rural resilience („odporności obszarów wiejskich”). W artykule zaprezentowano przegląd stanu badań nad wiejską rezyliencją. Wskazuje on na złożoność tego konceptu z uwagi na współzależność systemów ekologicznych, ekonomicznych i społecznych oraz konflikt interesów. Ponadto różnorodność obszarów wiejskich w skali świata i problemów zamieszkujących je społeczności nie pozwala na uniwersalne i całościowe ustalenia koncepcyjne, kieruje natomiast uwagę na terytorialność i lokalność oraz specyficzny kontekst. Dynamika zmieniających się obszarów wiejskich w zderzeniu z niepewnością i zmiennością otoczenia (przyrodniczego, gospodarczego i geopolitycznego) czyni koncepcję rural resilience przydatną nie tylko do przetrwania w trudnych, niespodziewanych lub spodziewanych sytuacjach, ale też do wypracowania sposobów na rozwój. Oba podejścia: systemowe (system-oriented) i społeczne (agent-oriented) oraz wszystkie elementy koncepcji resilience: robustness, adaptability, transformality mają swoje znaczenie w tym procesie.
