Celem opracowania jest wstępna analiza naukowej oraz praktycznej przydatności popularnej koncepcji alternatywnych sieci produkcji i dystrybucji żywności (Alternative Agro-Food Networks). W artykule poruszone zostały problemy dotyczące powiązania zmian w rolnictwie z rozwojem społeczności lokalnych oraz szans i ograniczeń związanych z alternatywnymi formami produkcji. Zostały też zaprezentowane pierwsze doświadczenia we wdrażaniu tej sieci w Polsce.Bibliografia
