Data Sharing and Reproducibility Policy

Wieś i Rolnictwo is an open-access journal committed to promoting transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility in scientific research. All articles published in the journal are freely available without subscription or access fees, and are distributed under an open license to support wide dissemination and reuse.
As part of our dedication to responsible research and publication practices, we strongly encourage all authors to share the data that support the findings of their articles. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Raw and processed data
• Metadata
• Software and algorithms
• Protocols and experimental procedures
• Statistical analysis methods

Authors may share these materials through institutional or subject-specific repositories or submit them as supplementary files to be published alongside the article. All shared data should be properly cited, with persistent identifiers (e.g. DOIs) whenever possible.
While sharing research data is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to ensure the reproducibility and verifiability of published work. Authors are expected to provide a Data Availability Statement within their manuscript, specifying where and how their data can be accessed, or explaining any justified restrictions.
In the case of sensitive data (e.g. involving personal or confidential information), authors should follow ethical guidelines and legal requirements regarding data anonymisation and controlled access.
Wieś i Rolnictwo aligns its data sharing policy with the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and supports open science practices following international standards.
